Martha Young had a dream: opening a quaint, home-cooking style restaurant serving local, preferably organic food, some of which she’d grow herself. The dream materialized when she got a chance to join with friends to buy an old building on a lightly trafficked street of charming, old west-style Red Lodge, MT. Almost everybody told her the location was bad and it would probably fail. She persisted. Twelve years later, her restaurant, Café Regis, has built a reputation that reaches beyond the borders of Montana. A testimony to her skills, Martha succeeded in winning over some townsfolk who were suspicious of her politics and reluctant to try new things; that is until they got to eat some of her incredible organic cooking, the taste of which they had no idea still existed.
